Size of sheet: 33 x 25 cm. Size of plate: 23.2 x 17.2 cm. Gustave Eiffel was a French civil engineer and architect. He built a large amount of railway bridges and steel structures, including for the Statue of Liberty in New York, and is best known for the Eiffel Tower, built for the 1889 Universal Exposition in Paris.
