Resnick photographed many prominent figures in the New York art, music and literary scene in the late 1970s and early 1980s. This photo shows Burroughs with filmmaker John Waters (b. 1946 Baltimore), whom Burroughs famously gave the moniker ‘The Pope of Trash’.
