Fine impression of the first state of three, with narrow margins and uncleaned plate edges. Roulette has been used to darken areas and make tonal gradations around the tree (bottom right) and in the decorative border (top left). A similar watercolour exists at the Yale Centre of British Art (B2001.2.1164).
