Provenance: Unidentified collector's mark (L. 477).
The print in this presentation seems to be extremely rare. The British Museum holds an impression of the portrait only and in much worse condition than ours (Inv. Bb,16.1076). Another impression is in the Universitatsbibliothek in Regensburg.
Ioannes Ioachim Gvandschneider was born in 1573 and was active as a lawyer in Nuremberg between 1606 and 1644.
