Isaac Rodrigue Péreire was a French banker, particularly known for having a financial participation in the modernisation of Paris undertaken by Haussmann and for his responsibility in the development of a large number of railway lines. He also financed the first experimentations of Clément Ader, who tested Eole, his first plane prototype in the gardens of Péreire’s country estate.
