Very fine impression with small margins. The engraving is after the painting in reverse by Jean-Baptiste Marie Pierre (1714 - 1789), now in the Palazzo Vecchio. Formally owned by Claude-Henri Watelet (1718 - 1786) who had no fewer than 24 paintings by Pierre. A preparatory drawing for the painting is today in a private collection in London.
