WIEBKE LOEPER: OVERVIEW (1996 – 2008)

Wiebke Loper works with notions of memory, time and space: 'I continually plumb actual space (apartment, house, city, country etc.) for potential biographical references. My photographs taken during this process are indicators that can form a metaphysical space in the head of the observer through which he can wander.' Wiebke Loeper.

The exhibition includes works from four series of photographs (Lad, Hello from Bloomer, Viele Grüße aus Wismar, To the Sisters of Carl Möglin and Welcome Home), as well as limited edition books and videos and a one wall piece.
