Literature: Hollstein 15. Hollstein (1986) is very vague on David Teniers the Younger’s prints. Indeed, he has only attributed a handful of prints to Teniers, including this one, whilst most are described as being after David Teniers. A thorough exploration of Teniers’s printed oeuvre is much overdue.
